Committed to the Happiness Industry
At Hotusa Group we are firmly committed to the sector and its development to ensure a positive impact on the territory. We believe in the importance of being a responsible and active player in our environment, and to this end we carry out initiatives with a comprehensive approach.

Our company strives to make a difference in multiple areas of action. Through our own organization or through strategic alliances, we promote the tourism sector with the certainty that it is an essential engine for economic, social and cultural development.
Letter from the president
Hotusa Group is a committed and responsible organization. For this reason, beyond the company's achievements in economic terms, we are especially proud of our links with art and culture, of our work for the recovery of heritage and of our unwavering defense of quality tourism rooted in sustainability.

Our strategy revolves around the constant search for innovative approaches that have a positive impact on society. At Hotusa Group, we believe that this contribution is not only an ethical imperative, but also a key factor for the long-term success of the organization.

We strive to demonstrate, through the creation of value in our environment, that financial performance and social responsibility are not only not mutually exclusive challenges, but go hand in hand. The fact is that obtaining economic benefits is a parallel and complementary objective to others of identical relevance, such as advancing territorial cohesion, promoting culture and preserving our historical and cultural heritage.

With this vision, we work hard to forge a sustainable future. And this would not be possible without a team of people completely aligned with this culture and values. We are grateful for the commitment of all those who form an integral part of this shared vision and with whom we hope to continue advancing towards a promising and enriching future.

People
This pillar focuses on the well-being of our employees and their professional and personal growth. We strive to generate employment beyond major urban centres, ensuring a positive social impact both within and outside the organisation.

We have implemented initiatives that promote equal opportunities and talent development, ensuring that every action reflects our commitment to the well-being of our workforce and the communities in which we operate.
Environment
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in investments and measures designed to reduce natural resource consumption and minimise our carbon footprint. We are committed to continuously improving our environmental practices, ensuring that our business growth remains responsible towards the environment.

Through this pillar, we manage our environmental impact by promoting conservation, the efficient use of resources, and the reduction of our ecological footprint.
Buen
Governance
Aligned with our fundamental principles, we have established a robust ethical framework through our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct. This code sets out clear guidelines to ensure integrity in our workplace, business practices, and relationships with society.

This pillar ensures that the company operates ethically and responsibly, applying governance principles that foster transparency and protect the rights of all stakeholders. Furthermore, it reaffirms our commitment to reinvesting 100% of our profits, a policy we have upheld since our inception.
Training and employability
Grupo Hotusa promotes talent retention and professional development through a strategic plan that aligns corporate goals with individual aspirations. This approach strengthens the connection between personal growth and the company’s objectives, fostering a committed team aligned with its values.
Internal training programmes
Investing in training not only ensures compliance with the quality standards set by the group but also enhances the experience and service received by our customers.

Additionally, it plays a key role in ensuring adherence to internal and external regulations, contributing to operational excellence.
Ongoing activities
Dual Training and Professional Development
The organisation is committed to the Dual Training model as a formula that promotes dynamic learning closely linked to the professional world.

In this way, we facilitate the integration of young professionals into the business sector, helping them develop within various fields of the industry.
Activities in Collaboration with Universities
Houtsa Group organises the annual inter-academic competition Talent Match, part of the Smart People programme.

This initiative provides students with their first contact with the business world and professional dynamics through the resolution of real-world challenges.
Territorial cohesion
At Hotusa Group, we understand that territorial cohesion is key to the sustainable development of regions. Through our business activities, we seek to strengthen the social and economic fabric of the areas in which we operate, actively contributing to their dynamism and well-being.
Creation of Work Centres Outside Urban Hubs
One of our main focuses is the establishment of work centres outside major urban areas. Hotusa Group is committed to decentralisation by setting up work centres in rural areas, fostering employment and economic development.

A notable example is the centre in Chantada (Lugo), which already employs over 250 people, reflecting our commitment to equitable growth and improving life in rural regions.
Organisation of Sporting Events
Hotusa Group strengthens its connection with the destinations where it operates through sporting events held throughout the year, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering community engagement.

A key example is the vertical races at Eurostars Madrid Tower and Eurostars Torre Sevilla, which attract numerous participants annually, creating a meeting point between the local population and the hotel.
Pazo Recimil Project
Eurostars Hotel Company has launched an innovative project that integrates the breeding and production of ox meat for its own restaurants.

The initiative takes place at Pazo Recimil, a rural estate located in Lugo, Galicia, where the animals are raised under semi-intensive conditions, with full respect for their well-being and the natural environment.

In addition to offering a high-quality product and a unique gastronomic experience, the project promotes the economic and social development of the region. The restoration of the Pazo, previously in a semi-abandoned state, contributes to territorial cohesion and stimulates the local economy through sustainable practices.
Commitment to culture
Hotusa Group, through Eurostars Hotel Company, has established itself as a benchmark in the field of cultural initiatives. These efforts not only promote creativity, but also enrich society through the promotion of culture. The chain's cultural project has gained national recognition, consolidating itself in the cultural and artistic scene and positioning itself as a platform of support and encouragement for new artists.
Eurostars Exhibitions
Since 2005, the Eurostars Exposiciones project has turned our hotels into authentic art spaces, offering an outstanding platform for the dissemination of the contemporary art scene.

Currently, the chain's hotels host temporary exhibitions, with a cumulative total of 600 of our exhibitions held in more than 50 establishments.

Grupo Hotusa also owns The La Toja Collection, a valuable collection of works by renowned contemporary artists, mostly from the second half of the 21st century, covering various artistic trends.

This collection includes both pictorial pieces in various techniques and sculptures, and is exhibited in its own gallery located in the Eurostars Suites Mirasierra 5* in Madrid.
Literature
The Wine & Books literary series brings together lovers of reading with authors of the stature of Javier Cercas, María Oruña and Lorenzo Silva at the chain's hotels.

The events are paired with a gastronomic cocktail that brings together renowned authors with lovers of reading in emblematic settings.

Also noteworthy is the Eurostars Hotels Award for Travel Narrative, endowed with 18,000 euros, which since its first edition in 2005 has become one of the most important awards in its category.
Artistic Awards
Our commitment is also manifested through the organization of various competitions aimed at both professionals and amateur artists.

Among these competitions, the Eurostars Grand Marina Photography Award and the Eurostars Madrid Tower Award stand out, both of which are vehicles for creativity and artistic expression.
La Toja Collection
As part of its commitment to culture and the arts, Eurostars Hotel Company presents the permanent exhibition of the La Toja Collection, a project that pays tribute to the richness of Spanish contemporary art.

The exhibition features a carefully curated selection of 35 works, including paintings, sculptures, and photographs, most of which date back to the first half of the 20th century. This valuable collection, curated with great care, represents one of the most outstanding art collections in the country.

Located at the Eurostars Suites Mirasierra, the exhibition makes accessible to the public works by internationally renowned artists that, until now, had remained dispersed or with limited access. This space offers a visual journey that celebrates the diversity of styles and artistic expressions of the Spanish avant-garde.
Rehabilitation of historical heritage
Throughout our trajectory, we have led rehabilitation projects that preserve heritage, transforming historic buildings into hotels that celebrate their artistic and architectural value. Some of the most emblematic examples can be found in the Áurea brand hotels, where many of their establishments, originally convents, palaces or old estates, have been carefully restored. In some cases, these hotels also house the remains of ancient civilizations, offering guests a unique and singular experience.
